Hey guys,

Y'all are the experts, so here you go:
http://www.javavideotutes.com

Initial comments:
1) Although I am very fond of the large title banner at the top (I am by NO means a graphic designer), I know it can use some work; particularly with the coffee mug.
2) Too many links in the "Welcome" section - but I want your opinion on this.
3) In the Lessons page, the border around the "Lessons" looks tacky. Any recommendations?
4) Worst of all, in the Assignments page, I use an iframe. But again, I want an opinion. Should I make the assignments page look like the Lessons page? Personally, I don't think that's necessary. The iframe links to a page with the assignments on it, and once the number of lessons exceeds five, I will place a link inside the iframe that changes the iframe page to the next set of lessons. Instead of using an iframe (which is there, I guess, because I'm lazy), I could use Javascript to change out the assignments. I don't know AJAX, but I can load the whole list and use JS to make different ones appear. Does that make sense?

Thanks a load for your input. Cheers.

Hold please

I had the opportunity to check the site on IE6 today, and predictably it exploded. I'll fix that up and let you know when it's done.

All Fixed Up

I did some major clean up today. First of all, the site works in IE (woo hoo!!) I re-did the assignments page, and it uses a super-nifty and 100% dynamic javascript to show the different assignments. I would say now the site qualifies for a site-check as per the rules of this forum.

Thanks - www.javavideotutes.com
