I would appreciate any and all comments about this design... so don't hold back.
I've been designing for about 1-2 years and I always feel the graphical aspect has been my weakness (i am more of a coder).
Thanks for your help!

//mod edit: This more closely belongs in the critique section, as it does not relate to css styling issues.

Looks good. Here's some of

Looks good. Here's some of my comments for possible improvement:

-The title "Principle Web Design" is not aligned with anything, and yet it's really closely aligned to "home" below it, making it look misaligned. It would be better to either align it vertically with the edge of "home" or push it farther to the left, so it doesn't look like a mistake.
-I would keep the title headers left aligned with the text below it; Who is Principle Web Design, etc. Maybe this is a personal preference of mine, but I find a little irritating to read the centered text and then adjust farther to the left to read the paragraph text.
-SiteMap should be Sitemaps or Site Maps.
-I would probably change "About Us" in the bottom navigation to "About", it's shorter, and this might help that "p" of sitemap from extending beyond the right border of the green lines.

-I tend to not like it when text changes size to show that it's a link; underline and a different color are more standard. More importantly, having the link text black, the same color as the static text, is kind of awkward.
"In any case, don't use bold-facing as a hover effect, because making the font wider may cause the text to re-align."

Thanks for your suggestions.

Thanks for your suggestions. I messed with some of those ideas and made some improvments to the design. I am still brainstorming what to do with the top header, it still seems kind of plain. But this is an updated version of what i posted yesterday.

Yeah, that's looking

Yeah, that's looking tighter. I agree, the header could use some work, even making it a bit larger or more distinctive.
