I am building a very simple site and if possible within the timeframe wish to use CSS.

As I haven't used css for layout before I have a few questions.

A sample image showing the layout I'm trying for is at:

Edit: correct link: http://www.theory1.orcon.net.nz/sample.gif

The 3 top divs should be simple enough to do. However I am uncertain of the best way to code the 2 columns below with border stretching to the bottom and footer always at the bottom of page?

Any advice or examples would be much appreciated

I can't access the imag, but I'm guessing you could try this.

If you want a footer at the bottom of the page, give it a position: absolute and bottom: 0. Hide the overflow for the html and body, and create the content div with overflow: auto.
