Hi, I have a list box (horizontal for navigation) enclosed within a div and it won't stay within the div in firefox 2.0 (but will in IE). The li drops just below the div in FF. I had pretty much stripped it down for testing but still no go. I have tried everything but the li remains just below the div container in FF. Here is the relavent code.

Style sheet..

#iemenu {
border: solid;
height: 26px;
top: 0 px}

#menu li {
list-style-type: none;
width: 80px;
height: 26px;
background-image: url("images/navbg.gif");
float: left;
text-align: center;
vertical-align: top;
padding-top: 5px;

}

The menu is staying within

The menu is staying within #iemenu but it's this:

html > body ul#menu { margin-top:51px; }

which is forcing it further down the page so it doesn't line up with your bg-image on the body.

How to get help
Post a link. If you can't post a link, jsFiddle it.
