Hi my name is Josh, I am new to this forum, thanks for taking the time to read,

I wanted to put a border around one of the divs on a site I am making in microsoft expression web

It shows in expression web, but put it in any browser IE, FF etc, and it doesnt show at all??

an example of what i mean:

#pipee {
border-style: 3;
border-width: 3px;
border-color: #009933;
width: 200px;
height: 380px;
}

Anybody understand why this does not show as a border around the div box????

Perplexed??? :blushing:

Please read the stickies at

Please read the stickies at the top of each forum forum information about what and how you should post. Without enough data, I'm guessing that the {border-style: 3;} may be the culprit.

cheers,

gary

If your web page is as clever as you can make it, it's probably too clever for you to debug or maintain.

Thankyou

Thankyou Gary, I replaced {border-style: 3;} with {border-style: solid;} this fixed it perfectly
