Hi all. I made the mistake of beginning my webpage coding using IE and now I am needing to work backward to Netscape compatability.

The code below illustrates my problem. Using IE, the gif image and P reference line up nicely beside the class menu. Using Netscape, they appear underneath and below the class menu, against the left margin. As it is now, there are a number of menu items that use the same gif and P reference in the CSS. Any thoughts on what I need to do to help Netscape out?

if($Admin)
{
$Menu2->Captions[$i]= 'Set Draft Order';
$Menu2->Links[$i] = 'http://www.poolios.com/ManageDraft.php?Pick=1';
$Menu2->Message[$i] = "<div id='bluepoint' name='bluepoint'>".'<p CLASS="menudescadmin">Determine the order in which members will draft their teams.</p></div>';
$i++;

#bluepoint {
position: absolute;
width:100px;
height:45px;
background: transparent url(/files/bluepoint.gif) no-repeat; }
#bluepoint span {display:none;}

p.menudesc {
text-align:left;
Position: Absolute;
Left:30;
Top:;
Width:300px;
Height:45;
color: blue;
background-color: aqua;
Font-Size:16px;
Font-weight:bold;
border: Thin Solid Blue(250,0,255);}

Netscape weirdness, help

Hi llcross,
It would be easier for us if you showed the source as rendered by the browser.
A link would be even better.
