Hi

I think this has come up before so apologies for returning to it. I have created a simple layout using CSS/DIV (see code below) in Dreamweaver CS3. It appears exactly as I want it to in IE7 but NOT in Firefox. In the latter, the two bottom floating DIVs appear outside the Wrapper DIV. Ordinaraly this wouldn't be a problem but I want to add a border to the #wrapper style which encloses ALL content. As I said, this works in IE but not Firefox.

Any help or advice will be greatly appreciated.

Here' the code

MAIN CONTAINER FOR THE PAGE

STUFF FOR THE LEFT COLUMN HERE

STUFF FOR THE RIGHT COLUMN HERE

Many thanks

George

I was implying you should

I was implying you should have wrapped <code></code> tags around the code Wink

Don't preview in IE first. IE is rubbish. Code it for Firefox first, then hack for IE.

You haven't contained your floats. IE is incorrectly expanding the parent to enclose the children.

Add overflow:auto; to #wrapper to fix the problem.
