Hello, I am a born again web design virgin and need help.
At http://tfcss.blogspot.com/ is the reconfiguration of a Blogger pre-designed template (565 by Bowman/StopDesign). When the page is viewed with Firefox/Win, the banner looks good. When viewed with IE6/Win, the banner and other contentless DIVs disappear or do not appear entirely as desired.
As a workaround for IE6, I've tried using , image shims, and regular text for content, but IE6/Win still will not render the banner at its proper height of 137px.
Note If looking at source code, search for #header and #blog-title in the style section and <div id="header"> in the body. BTW, the portions with rendering issues do validate (as best as I can tell), but many other portions do not. Even if I use one of Blogger's pre-designed templates without altering it one bit, validation will not occur. For now I am focusing on getting the banner to work before returning to complete validation.
Contentless DIVs with Blogger: Firefox - good; IE6 - bad
Well, duh. Instead of using background images in the CSS, use them as images in the HTML body.
