Hello,
For the last couple of days I've been designing a site. I've checked the site in the browsers mentioned in the topic title and it works in some, but for some reason it doesn't work in IE6.
The site is: http://www.italydenhaag.nl/
Could someone comment on why?
Thanks in advance!
Regards,
Lorenzo
Let's get the code validated
Let's get the code validated first
http://validator.w3.org/check?verbose=1&uri=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.italydenhaag.nl%2F
without valid code, CSS has no standard way of being applied.
It might not solve your problem, but it will help narrow down the choices.
Code validated
Done, the code is now validated.. Still no-go in IE6 though..
Why do you have everything
Why do you have everything in images?
You hate people with disabilities and don't want them to ever be able to use the service you offer?
Maybe you are afraid of Google and don't want them to ever index your site?
IE6 is hanging really bad on the homeimageright.png for me, it's not wanting to load it at all.
Odd.
Loads up real quick like in Firefox.
What's with the attitude? No
What's with the attitude? No need for the tone your using..
Anyway, I used the images because I'm using a non-standard font (Gill Sans). Maybe it can be done differently, I don't know..
So no ideas as to why it doesn't work?
you can use sIFR to use
you can use sIFR to use non-standard fonts, and I had no attitude, was just wondering why. I cannot get the page to load in IE6, so I can't see any issues besides that.
Thanks for the pointer on
Thanks for the pointer on sIFR.
And the not loading: thats a pretty big issue ;P (the only one I know of anyway)
