Hi,
There's probably a very simple fix to this but to this point it's eluding me, as I'm still new at this.

I have a rollover that I want to be as wide as the container element and not simply as wide as the words that are being rolled over. I set the hover state to be the same width as the container, but that didn't do it. Here is the URL. The navigation I'm concerned with is the lefthand navigation.

Here is the CSS for the subnavigation. Thanks in advance for your help!
Bill

ul#subnav { margin-left: 0; background:#CCCCCC; text-align:left; width:200px; height:350px; font-size:0.8em; font-weight:bold; padding-left: 1; float:left; }

#subnav li
{
display: block;
list-style-type: none;
}

#subnav a { padding: 0px 0px; }

#subnav a:link, #subnav a:visited
{
color: #333399;
background: #CCCCCC;
text-decoration: none;
}

#subnav a:hover
{
color: #CCCCCC;
background-color: #333399;
width:200px;
text-decoration: none;
}
/*END SUBNAVIGATION*/

404 Not Found on that link
Sounds like you should try

#subnav a:link, #subnav a:visited { color: #333399; background: #CCCCCC; text-decoration: none; display: block; }

Perfect!

Hmmm, sorry about that 404, but you were correct, sir. That's just what it needed. Thanks, Deuce!
