Hi !

I have a css stylesheet defining wigth:100% and height:100% for textarea.special. The goal is of course to dynamically wrap the text I am displaying.
Both work great with ie6 but the height:100% is not supported by ie5. What could I do to still wrap vertically any text with ie5?
Any suggestion would be appreciate a lot!

problem with dynamic textarea height with ie5

No idear ??? is my question clear enought ? for the moment, the only things I found was to fix height to a given number...at least I can read my text in ie5. But a dynamic height would be much better.

problem with dynamic textarea height with ie5

You can use overflow:scroll; with IE 5, it won't do what you want but you will be able to read.
textarea causes many syntax an cross browser problems, why don't you use <pre></pre> ?

Hey thanks for your answer. I didn't use <pre></pre> because it doesn't deal with \n and I really need that. The only object I found to reconize \n was textarea. Do you have any other idear ?
