Hi folks,

I have a question for the standards community here 'bouts. I, personally, use web sites to display pictures of work much more often than to showcase text content.

What is the general feeling about extra div markup for displaying pictures if pictures are the focus of your site. I can already hear folks saying "It's your site, do what you want", but I am hoping to gain some INFORMED insight into this .

Is there a convention for displaying galleries with CSS?

Any help or leads would be appreciated.

Thanks

Use an unordered list with the list items as containers. What you put inside those containers depends on whether you're having captions, citations etc.

How to get help
Post a link. If you can't post a link, jsFiddle it.
