Hi, This is version 4 of my site which I am building and it has been a good but painful experience learning the different issues with different browsers. The site is http://www.techsatcomputers.com/index4.htm The styles are embedded into the page itself.

I have managed to test it in:
IE 6, Opera 6.01(Windows) and
Konqueror, Galeon, Mozilla, Opera 7.1(Linux).

Results:
#### Windows ######
IE 6 : Everything looks perfect except if you scroll down to the bottom of the page and look at the extreme right of the footer there is a small margin between the right of the footer and the Browser Window. If you hover or click on one of the links it will disappear. But if you don't click and refresh the page the margin comes back. Any solutions for it ?

Opera 6.01 : Spot on.... to me at least everything looks ok
#### Windows ######

#### Linux #### ######
Konqueror & Galeon : They seem to have the same problem as shown in the attached pic. If anyone knows of a solution please save me Laughing out loud

Mozilla : Seems to have no problems as well. If you spot one let me know.

Opera 7.1 : There seems to be a small margin between the content bottom and the footer top.... approximately about 7px .... me doono where that came from Sad
#### Linux #### ######

I am looking to get some help to test the page on IE 5.5(which I don't have access to) and also Netscape versions 6 and 7.

Cheers, Jeffery

Please verify IE 5.5 Netscape > 6 and Opera 7

Ok I fixed up the Opera, Galeon and Konqueror problems. Now I am left with testing for IE 5.5, Netscape 7 and Opera 7.

Could someone here please give me a screen shot for IE 5.5, Netscape 7 and Opera 7 ... or perhaps verify if its ok.

thanks, Jeffery

BrowserCam to the rescue

I stopped by BrowserCam for another free trial- I got screenshots in 640x460, 800x600, and 1024x768 on IE5.5 and Netscape 7; Opera 7 wasn't an option, sorry.

You can see the screenshots here.

More info on BrowserCam [url=http://www.csscreator.com/css-node/251

PS: If you want the bottom of the screen just add a bookmark/anchor, post the link, and I'll gladly resubmit the screen capture (if I catch the post before the 8hour free trial expires)

Hi paCkeTroUTer,
It looks fine to me in Netscape 7.
I'll try to have a look in IE5.5 tomorrow for you.

Thanks KnightWolfJK and Tony for the help. I didn't know about the BrowserCam page. It certainly is a good tool for us as developers.

Well I was expecting for some problems on my pages to appear under IE 5.5, but it has surprised me with not a single problem. Laughing out loud

Any time, my pleasure.

I have two sites coming to fruition in about a month, I intend to register for a month's membership around then. I'll be sure to let you guys know.
