All the mentioned apps are free. Wordpress is probably the most popular choice however it is really a blog first and foremost

Try Drupal

Drupal is the best CMS in the world, Those sites which are in drupal CMS has better security and can be build with good quality

So my suggestion is that 'Drupal' fulfills all your needs

Mod edit/ Promotional links removed. Links are available to members in their signature line after a period of time on the forum.

Wordpress

I built a couple of sites in WP recently. It was suprisingly easy, you can even do it with a single template file (index.php). Just create your page, add the bits of WP code and you're good to go. As others have mentioned is primarily a blog platform but there are a number of plugins that add more 'CMS like' functions.

It depends what you need, and how dirty you want to get. I used Joomla/Drupal a couple of years ago, swore I never go there again. But that's just my experience.
