Looking for feedback on IE6 and Mac specifically, but if anyone else notices any other issues, please let me know.

Thanks!

Hello Deuce, Does the top

Hello Deuce,

Does the top graphic really need to me made with Flash? It seems that when I have my mouse above it, the roller (for scrolling) refuses to work. If it is absolutely necessary to animate the logo, perhaps it would be better to isolate it and make a separate image to put beside it so that you'll get the same look.

But that's just an idea. =)

Ya, they want it to be

Ya, they want it to be flash, but if you dont have flash you see the same image without the animation... Don't ask.

As far the scrolling issue goes, I can't say the same thing is happening to me.

Unfortunately I don't know flash well enough to be able to chop it up like that.

Err... make an animated

Err... make an animated Flash logo and left-float it. Beside it, a right-floated jpeg of the people and the beach. That should be easy enough. Smile

I don't know/do flash. This is all preexisting artwork.
I sell recoding work. Take an old tables based site and recode it to look exactly the same but in w3c compliant, yadda yadda *insert sales pitch here* yadda yadda, and this also helps the SEO which is another task I sale.

Hi Duece - I'm with Nerthus

Hi Duece - I'm with Nerthus here, I can't see the flyouts in IE6 though they work fine in FF2 and happily go through 3 text increases. Mouseover in IE does change the menu item to a slightly deeper blue

The same goes for the flash - works in FF but IE tells me
"no flash player detected - reverted to alternative imagery"
on both the logo and the picture. Picture is static in FF - is it supposed to move?

Form fields are yellow in IE but not in FF.

I don't see the flash movie

I don't see the flash movie up top. Right click says "Movie not loaded...".

@Smee - I got the flyouts to

@Smee - I got the flyouts to work in IE6, and as far as the yellow fields in IE, i think that is your IE setup to autofill in things because I have not set any bg color to the fields.

@Triumph - Movies loads fine for me every time on 5 different computers in the office... odd. Maybe the server decided to not respond for a minute so it didn't load the video?

Hi Deuce

Hi Deuce

Still the same I'm afraid. I have Flash Player 9 installed on Win 2k Prof.

FF2 - brings in the logo in several bits but plays no flash on the picture and gives no msg (and nothing on rightclick).

IE6 - just plonks in the logo and picture as pictures and gives the same msg as above when I mouseover either the logo or the picture.

The arrows on the menu are good now at least I now which ones have flyouts Smile
Still have yellow form fields in IE but can't find an option which has this set - it maybe in Outlook Express somewhere but nothing that I could see.

Hope this helps.

EDIT: I'm attaching a couple of screenshots - the yellow (lemon really) is quite pleasant since it goes with the woman's shorts Laughing out loud Notice in snap 3 on the home page the bottom 4 fields are not yellow.

The picture is there for that reason, if you don't have flash then you get a picture, so that works as planned.

Glad to hear the flyouts work.

I don't have any fields yellowed in a version of IE6 i got my hands on. It is probably part of the "Auto Fill" or something.

Thanks for the screens.
