Following the above link will display a heading and one image. This is the stripped down version with only xhtml and css relevant to the issue. I've left the heading in as a point of reference for where the left inner edge of div#mainbody is on the page.
The heading and the image are both contained in div#mainbody (which has a margin-left of 25%). They both should have zero left margins, but the image on IE6 (not IE7, Opera 9 or Mozilla 2) is about 15 pixels to the right of where it should be.
Using the Web Developers Toolbar to view CSS on IE6 shows correct margins and padding for 'div#mainbody img' (zero).
The full version is at http://www.axot31.dsl.pipex.com/cvsrt/fundraising.html and the links via the left hand menu will show other pages with similar problems. Interestingly, when you hover over any of the left hand menu options on the full version, the image moves back to where it should be.
I am running IE6 on Windows XP on Microsoft VPC. Its the free hard disk image that MS provide for web developers needing to test IE6 on a machine with IE7.
Thanks in advance for any suggestions!
