Ironic! Ironic!! I'll give you ironic, cheeky.....
Of course you realise that all that's going to happen is tonight I'm going to go and change it for something that will be really embarrassing and probably change you sig link to knitting_&_crotchet_monthly.co.uk
IE : Incredible & Excellent
I generally go home at 4 on a Friday and unfortunately don't get to check this site again until Monday morning so if you changed my profile tonight I probably wouldn't know until Monday!
Wait a second... I'm just encouraging the idea now
Fine, I'll have a think about a replacement picture over the weekend. Perhaps Bill Gates smiling, or the corporate Microsoft logo
Too late you've inured my
Too late you've inured my ire, it's going to be cute little puppy dog and that'll be your reputation shot and of course the profile will be locked out
You wouldn't! It's not
:scared:
You wouldn't! It's not my fault 60% of users use IE!! Blame the US for not coming down hard enough on Microsoft in 98!

consumers were now getting all the benefits of IE for free.
Yeah right, thanks for that, it has really benefited mankind that one.
Your right though it was the cop out by the courts that let M$ get away with that bundling nonsense, and I thought the idea was that M$ would get broken up in order to neutralize it's monopoly.
Something I do on another
Something I do on another forum I administer, is to have a bespoke 'ranking' graphic of three steaming turds, relating to the rank of 'Ploppy Head'. If anyone upsets me I just change their rank for a few days }:)
The way I read it, it just
The way I read it, it just looked like Microsoft could do no evil. I guess the money they put in to lawyers was sufficient enough to find an excuse for everything. It made a fascinating read though, and really quite angers me how Microsoft barely changed anything AT ALL at the end of it.
They probably don't make browsers conform to web standards because w3c isn't part of them. They'll probably come up with their own standards and in 5 or so years, the other browsers will give up and just start designing to 'Microsoft Web Standards'.
'Ploppy Head' I'll get on
'Ploppy Head'
I'll get on and do the graphic then, Three steaming turds? wet or solid?
"You can take away my
"You can take away my avatar... you can even take away my signature but you can never take away my stars"!!
Haha
Oh No! RTB that is pure evil!!!!!!!!!!!!!
....but I see I'm just tooo late to say "for heaven's sake don't give him those ideas!"
Uh-oh John...I think you need to change it before Hugo does....
Problem with 'Standards' is
Problem with 'Standards' is that they are agreed on by committee of which MS are a part, problem is they agree and then go off and don't implement them, also we mustn't forget that in some respects MS probably still consider that they are best at setting them after all a lot of what we know and love came from browsers such as IE hover anchor effects.

True, but can change the graphic, perhaps rabbit droppings to go with the three turds?
Fine
Are you happier now? You get my beautiful mug instead.

Encourage Learning
Page 53 I believe of the Bournemouth University Undergraduate prospectus! That image is in the career departments of schools and colleges throughout the country. Not to mention the bedrooms of many 17/18 year olds contemplating higher education!

And less of the flattering yourself! what did you study at Uni then? Applied Posing ?
Didn't need to study that,
Didn't need to study that, it comes naturally. Seriously, I can almost feel a camera looking at me. If I'm in a club and someone far off in the background someone is taking a picture of their mate, when the pics come out they'll see me in the shadows striking a pose.
I suppose it just comes naturally when one is as gorgeous as I am.
Huh in my not so far off
Huh in my not so far off clubbing days I had to stop them as it got boring being photographed all the time, but then I was the coolest thing imaginable with a scowl unrivalled.
