I was trying to keep everything simple and clean, though I think I might have gone too far. Please let me know what you guys think. This is also the first site I've designed from the ground up in CSS so it wouldn't surprise me if I did something horribly wrong.

I'm a fan of one page sites, but I find this one hard to read. I think this site needs better use of typography. To me it doesn't seem "clean". I think you need to focus on the type. You have text clustered together with little respect for whitespace. With a few positioning tweaks, it could look a lot better.

I tweaked it a little bit; is that closer to what you had in mind or do I need to do something more drastic?

I'd do away with the salmon-colored gradient as the background---it hurts my poor designer eyes! In Firefox, the content is going out beyond the gradient background anyway.
Have you tried resizing your text yet in Firefox----it's a mess. Probably due to some float issues.
You've got way more divs than are necessary for a single page.
At least everything is valid!

Which platform/version of firefox are you using? I designed the site with firefox and nothing is going into the gradient for me. Also what about the text is a mess; if you could please be more specific that would be great, thanks.

Try increasing text size two times and you'll see what the poster meant. However, the text is fairly decent size to begin with... BUT you do have a plethora of divs as was mentioned. You could code this site with way less css and html.

Bang a little padding in or
Bang a little padding in or margin around the Mainheader - your logo's allsquishedupagainst the top of the screen.
The headings services and why steve may look a little better in black - the red is striking and the headers don't get noticd (by me anyway) easily.
Simple's good though
