Ok, I am trying to use the padding: 10px for an a tag in CSS but it only indents the first line of the anchor and not the whole thing.

Any ideas?

Anchor tag and padding

Hi joco,
Have you set the anchor to display:block; ?

No, or at least not that I am aware. What is display block?

Anchor tag and padding

Surprisingly, it sets whatever you set it as to display as a block. So instead of just clicking, for example, text, you can click the area around the text (the 'block').

Yep did that... seems to have fixed my problem.

Thanks,
