hr and images

Hi, Could someone point me in the right direction please. I am trying to get the HR in the following html to be as close to the top and bottom of the image as possible. I am trying to do it without a table.
The actual page is www.funzibeds.com./html/1furniture.htm and the css sheet is www.funzibeds.com./css/maindik.css. I have tried using the <BR> clear attribute but the line appears through the middle of the image on most browsers. Any help appreciated.
