I've looked all over ... the USPS doesn't even help of all things ..

Can someone tell me how to connect to a test server so I can test my connection? It all seems pointless and I'm tempted to just go on and take it live to production ... I'm not sure how to connect to the test server is my API is osCommerece and it doesn't offer a way? Can anyone help me out on this one? I may have it all wrong... Thanks!
