I was chatting to tph about something else and mentioned what utter crap some of the Microsoft MVP's are telling new users of the Microsoft Expression Web software package (not so bad replacement for Frontpage). Microsoft have a forum (seriously awful forum software btw), but here's a not untypical post:

I gave up on Sharepoint. Poorly documented, tables everywhere, makes a big thing of CSS and Accessibility. CSS means you can change the font colour. Accessibility means they provide a skip link. :/

We were thinking of doing a web design project next year (September 07) for our 16-17 year olds, but the examination board has just announced a change in syllabus meaning no projects for this age group from September 08, so we won't bother.
As far as my boss is concerned, anything made by MS must be good. And it is a massive improvement on Frontpage. But as for Sharepoint, no way Jos é.

It can be done by CSS, but some of them (like hanging indent - a number/symbol/letter on the first line, and text indented) is best done with a table, where the first column has the symbols and the second column holds the text.
