this was started in this thread: http://csscreator.com/node/20867

and was getting too long.

The problem I am having now is that the menu is not painting left to write anymore, it's being squashed by something.

screenshot, index.php, and css sheet attached.

Don't have a lot of time to

Don't have a lot of time to look at it now, BUT

Have checked the css and that is OK! It works fine with a default menu I have.

In the menu, you have some items like this:

  • Two Line
  • which should be like this:

  • Two Line
  • Ire the menu lists too long (does the css need adjusting for the number of menu items in any given list?), try removing some to see if shorter menu's work.

    Durn it!

forgot a close LI tag Sad

I love when I do stupid stuff like that.
Dreamweaver was yelling at me about an abandoned div tag, but I made sure things were okay.

Going to try the other solution to my links on the left not being clickable, thanks!

If you don't use the correct

If you don't use the correct code for the characters they might not show up properly in all browsers.
    Hope that helps

    As purewebdesigner says,

As purewebdesigner says, there are many html entities that you must code specially so they will always show up in a browser.

Just validating what you are doing as you go along will show these up. I also use html tidy and that shows them (but it can be quite agressive on your code, so I tend to save what I have done first and use this just to show up problems.

    that makes sense

CT - on the main page - http://www.carfaro.com/new/ I can't seem to get it so that the text is on the left, the big pic next to it, and the two small pics stacked next to that.

    Any suggestions?

Hi That link has no content

    Hi

That link has no content in the middle showing.

Maybe you could use the © html entitity instead of the word copyright in the footer.
