It looks like you've chosen

It looks like you've chosen heading tags for their size (ie presentation) rather than for the content they're describing because you've skipped h1 and h3. Also, you've wrapped your validator logos in a <p> but haven't used one for the line containing your copyright info.

You should also rethink the way you've constructed your banner, because at the moment there's no HTML in the body of your page that says what the name of the site is.

It's a nice clean looking

It's a nice clean looking site and I like the logo and images at the top of the page.

I'd like to see a sans-serif font used because I think serif fonts look plain wrong Smile

Also a little extra padding (5-10px) on the left and right would look better to push the white out a bit more from your actual content.

Personally I'd fully justify the text too but other people may disagree, I'm not 100% sure on people's views on this.

Navigation

Your layout looks good, man. I like the banners and other graphics. I have just a few suggestions.

You might want to switch to sans-serif fonts for easier readability.
Your navigation didn't load correctly for me in IE(Yes, I know, IE is horrible), but worked in Firefox. You should probably fix it to work on both browsers if possible because there are still plenty of IE users out there.

I am using IE7. The navigation is pushed on top of the banner and content. It looks like the left positioning or margin/padding is messed up on the nav DIV.

Border

Both in IE 6 and Mozilla you have a thick border around the "XHTML1.0" banner.
Design wise... the layout is clean but I think you could have done better without the black silhouettes
in the background...

Design looks pretty sweet

Design looks pretty sweet Smile

I'd decrease the font size, but I'm not a big fan of big fonts. Maybe to compensate this, increase the line-height.

hey thanks guys. I don't

hey thanks guys. I don't have a thick border, just a 1px. How would you suggest I fix that? I can't just take the border off, then the layout looks like it has no place anywhere.

eh.....?

alt text

Why didn't you put alternate text for your image at the top of each section. You put alt = "" which is why it validates (I assume) but you need to put in an actual description. I also don't think you are using your headlines properly and the graphic in them is hard to see. However, I do think the site is clean and professional looking.
