I'm trying to build a layout that completely covers a myspace page. I've managed to get pretty far but I've hit a brick wall. The comment box DIV and the text DIV will not stay in position like the banner and the main DIV layer that is used to cover the original myspace content. I've tried making a "parent" style and wrapping that around my DIV layers but to no avail. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Here is the link to my MySpace Page: myspace.com/ginkobiloba.

Here is the code that I have inserted in the About Me section:

.main {
position: absolute;
left: 50%;
top: 135px;
width: 800px;
z-index: 1;
margin-left: -400px;
border:1px solid;
border-bottom:1px solid;
}
a:link {
color: black;
}
a:visited {
color: black;
}
a:hover {
color: black;
}
a:active {
color: black;
}
.banner {
position: absolute;
left: 50%;
top: 135px;
width: 800px;
z-index: 3;
border: 1px solid;
margin-left: -400px;
}
.navigation {
position: absolute;
left: 50%;
top: 386px;
width: 800px;
z-index: 4;
border: 1px solid;
margin-left: -400px;
}
.navigation a:link, .navigation a:visited{
font-family:arial;
font-size:11px;
padding:3px;
}
.navigation a:hover{
text-decoration:none;
padding:3px;
}
.content{
position: absolute;
top: 400;
left: 35%;
margin-left: -150px;
z-index: 5;
width:250px;
border-bottom:1px dotted;
background-color: ecf7f9;
}
.sidebar{
top: 925px;
left: 26%;
margin-left: -500px;
position: absolute;
width:210px;
padding:5px 5px 5px 7px;
margin:5px 5px 0 0;
border:0px solid;
z-index: 2;
}
input{
font-family: Arial;
font-size: 9px;
color:ffffff;
background-color:555555;
border:1px solid;
border-color:d6d3d3;
margin-left:6px;
margin-top:4px;
}
input:hover{
color:555555;
background-color:999999;
border:1px solid;
border-color:555555;
}
input:focus{
color:555555;
border:1px solid;
bord-color:555555;
}
body {
background-color: ecf7f9;
}

Also, I've entered this code into the Who'd I Like To Meet section:

INSERT CONTENT AND ADDITIONAL DIVS

Hello.
I'm not dressed yet.

I have a feeling I might be using some of the positioning types incorrectly. I figured that using absolute would position elements exactly where I wanted them to be, is there a better way of doing this?

EDIT: I have been coding this in FireFox on a Mac and have just looked at the page in Safari. Well... it looks horrible. I have no idea why this is happening.
