Hi,

I am experiencing a strange problem on Safari. I tested the following page (which is Valid XHTML 1.0 Transitional)

http://pragma.animatix.ch/prestations.html

on several browsers (Opera, FireFox, Swift, IE) on Windows and everything is working fine, even if I am resizing the page. But on Safari, it seems that the content looses the height positioning when the user resizes the window as you can notice on this pdf .

Here is my code:

PRAGMA - Bienvenue

0&&parent.frames.length) {
d=parent.frames[n.substring(p+1)].document; n=n.substring(0,p);}
if(!(x=d[n])&&d.all) x=d.all[n]; for (i=0;!x&&i

#page{top:50%}
#contenu{top:-50%;position:relative;}
#banner{left:0%}
#menu{left:0%}
#texte01{left:0%}

First question: does anyone can reproduce the problem?
Second one: if so, does anyone has a clue about the source of the problem?

Many thanks in advance for your kind support.

Hi I can't remember if

Hi

I can't remember if Safari has been fixed, but I reported a v similar bug about two years ago.

Opera has the same bug. Or, at least, the symptons are the same. I can make a page that always goes wrong when the height is changed. The code required can be remarkably small. I just live with it.

[solved] Safari resize problem

Thanks Cleva for your answer...

The bug happened only in an old version of Safari. After a few search I discovered it was related to absolute positionning within a relative positionned block. I finally positionned everything relative to each other and everything is working fine now...
