I put this together for our development team. It's pretty self-explanatory. I figured out how to use CSS Float & Clear in order to reproduce a two-column layout that is infinitely expandable.

The important thing is to make certain that the parent of any element that floats, must float too. Also, don't spec width's. Blow things out to the right with extra padding to meet your desired sizes.

Uses only DIV's and A's so far. I did my best to make sure that it was only one level of containment.

So far it checks out in:
WIN: MSIE v6.0 / NN 7.01
Mac: Safari 1.2 / NN 7.01 / Camino 0.8b
