When there is no border around my page, there is no problem. However when you add a border around the wrapper ID, ie6 and 7 render it fine, but firefox adds some top padding where there should be none. It doesn't seem to change when increasing the border width, only when there's an absence of a border. Try bugzilla - the yellow space is clearly part of the content id. Here's my css:

#wrapper { margin: 0 auto; /* margin-top: 20px;*/ width: 800px; min-height: 700px; background-color: #FFFF99; border: 3px solid black; padding:0; }

the wrapper div tag sits within the body tag. You can see the problem live here: http://www.mightyzebra.com/dev/

It's not a bug FF is doing

It's not a bug FF is doing exactly what you ask, read up on collapsing margins. Remove the borders and the margin on the 'p' collapse with the parent. IE does not follow the correct specified behaviour.

Hugo.
