How do all, first topic.

I ran my CSS file through the W3 CSS validator (as I like valid stuff). It tells me on line 0 I should offer a generic alternative to font-face.

The weird thing is, line 0 is a comment, starred out by */ (or */, I can never remember which way round they go).

Every other font-face has a generic alternative.

And another thing - it also doesn't like my scrollbar colours. Is this because the scrollbar colours are an IE only thing?

-edit

I forgot to mention, the stylesheet is at www.eugenematthias.com/style.css

W3 validator and generic font face

I don't know about the line: 0 but here are three classes in your stylesheet that don't have generic fonts:
input {
background-color: #666666;
font-family: Verdana;
color: #aaaaaa;
font-size: 8pt;
font-weight: Bold;
border: #aaaaaa solid 1px; }

select {
background-color: #666666;
font-family: Verdana;
color: #aaaaaa;
font-size: 8pt;
font-weight: Bold; }

textarea {
background-color: #666666;
font-family: Verdana;
color: #aaaaaa;
font-size: 8pt;
font-weight: Bold;
scrollbar-track-color: #666666;
border: #aaaaaa solid 1px; }

W3 validator and generic font face

The only thing I can think of is I've commented them wrong.

Cheers though, I didn't see the font faces in the input and stuff.

W3 validator and generic font face

Every font-family must end with a generic font for the style to be valid.

So add sans-serif to each font-family.

font-family:Verdana, sans-serif;

It's not what you do it's the way that you do it.
So do it with STYLE
