Please check my site:
http://www.indydutch.nl/pictures.aspx
In FF everything looks fine, but in IE half of the screen is white. After a refresh, it's OK. If you startup with IE again, then again it's half white.
the html validates, also the css (http://www.indydutch.nl/css/pictures.css)

What can be the problem?

Thanks in advance,

Eddy

I don't have time to look

I don't have time to look into this in detail right now. IE has a "unique" way of determining the dimensions of an element. I suspect what you are seeing is IE calculating the dimensions incorrectly the first time, possibly because something is missing or is taking a long time to load. When you refresh the page, IE has that missing item in its cache so it calculates things correctly.

You standard problem solving techniques to work out where the problem is. Make a copy of the page. Remove elements and/or styles bit by bit until the problem goes away. Then see if you can find an alternative way of doing whatever the thing was that is causing the problem.
