Real sorry if this has been covered, but can't find anything on it.
I'm getting an issue with Mozilla with div widths. Well, it's not really Mozilla's fault.
It's probably just easiest if I post the URL: http://www.studentsafety.org.uk/
I know there are some issues with this site in Opera, and I'm getting onto sorting these. One that's being difficult is to do with the width of the div which wraps the page (#wrapper) and the #user_bar div. I've fixed up the #wrapper problem, but the #user_bar is a different story.
IE doesn't seem to care if you set no width, and neither does Mozilla. Opera requires that #user_bar be given a 100% width to display properly. The problem is that Mozilla doesn't like having a width property for #user_bar - if I set a width, Mozilla makes #user_bar too wide. I can tame it using a Mozilla-only rule which brings the width in a bit, but that's not an ideal solution. I hope you see what I mean.
Ideally, there'd be a rule that I can apply for Opera only, but until I find another way around it, I've decided to leave the site slightly broken in Opera.
Anyone have any ideas?
