Hi all,

I got a little problem with my side and can't figure out where the problem is.

With a screen resolution of 1024x768 (or less), Internet Explorer displays a vertical scrollbar although its unnecessary. (With Firefox its fine).

The scrollbar only appears, when the site has a horizontal scrollbar.

When I remove the clear:both property from the footer, the scrollbar disappears, but the layout breaks then with Firefox.

Here's a link to the site: http://renovieren-ohne-stress.de/demo

I hope you can help me out with this and explain me why this happens.
Thanks a lot,
greets ben

Hi! Why have overflow:auto

Hi!

Why have overflow:auto on html?

I wanted to avoid the scrollbar in IE when there isn't anything to scroll...
I removed it, and it seem's to work no.
Thank you!
