Fairly new to CSS, so just messing around with a few pages to see what I can achieve. Usually can iron out my CSS so that it looks good in both FF and IE, but the following page doesnt quite work. Can anyone tell me whats causing IE to increase the size of my menu, hence throwing my bg image out of line?

Any other comment welcome.

Thanks!

line height

IE incorrectly expands an element with set size if the contents are larger - in this case, IE's rendering of text in the a elements is increasing the size of the li. Add the following line to your css for #nav li a line-height: 15px; This ensures the a elements don't expand, pushing the li's.

Cheers
Graeme
