hello all,

first post and i'm a newbie css guy as well, so please be gentle... i have a div height that seems to be rendering differently (to the tune of 1 pixel) in IE and safari (see it at www.teamsnowvalley.com/results.asp).

css

.menuDiv {
background-color #000;
border-top solid 1px #6C9FFC;
position absolute;
width 100%;
height 22px;
left 0px;
top 86px;
color #CBEAFF;
font-family tahoma, arial, verdana, sans-serif;
font-size 11px;
}

.menu {
position relative;
left 322px;
top 4px;
}

html

<div class="menuDiv">
<div class="menu">
<a href="info.asp" class="topmenu">Registration/Race Info</a>|<a href="directions.asp" class="topmenu">Directions</a>|<a href="results.asp" class="topmenu">Results</a>|<a href="galleries.asp" class="topmenu">Galleries (coming soon)</a>
</div>
</div>

this is producing a menuDiv 1 pixel greater in height in safari than in IE. nothing i do can seem to get rid of this.

i realize there are all kinds of things wrong with this puppy, but this is my biggest headache right now. any ideas...?

thanks,
dn

safari vs. IE

Hi Darth Nunzio,
Honestly I'd ignore it for now.
Trying to get the site pixel perfect in every browser, screen resolution combination will send you crazy.
