Ok fes up who just deleted their topic "CSS is it worth it" just as I was submitting one of my legendary, long, and witty replies only to have it consigned to oblivion.
It's not that I'm hopping mad or anything
I'm so sorry! It was I who
I'm so sorry! It was I who did it...
I saw a post that kind of answered my frustration with CSS. And now I feel really embarrassed, stupid and guilty for deleting it, but I thought you had the right to know who was so stupid to do this...
Since I saw that thread I assumed my thread was repetitious and an annoying newb thread...
I understand if you feel like banning me, right now.
Oh **** this reply just got
Oh **** this reply just got consigned to oblivion, not your fault though.
No it's not a banning offence, hanging maybe
Some might breath a sigh of relief that thy had been spared one of my long and rambling posts
Cheers for holding your hand up though, and have faith with CSS it's not meant to be childs play
Don't worry about it. Hugo
Don't worry about it.
Hugo often arduously writes long replies, it's a habit of his, and they're all splendid containing tonnes of useful nuggets of information. However, he's not the fastest typist in the world, so gets frustrated when people reply before he does, or (in your case) delete their posts.
And CSS is frustrating, we've all had momenst where we felt like bashing our heads against the walls.
Out of interest, what problem were you having?
I understand that you
I understand that you were/are pissed off. No need to cheer; I'm hiding behind my computer you know.
Thanks for encouraging me to engross myself with CSS. I definitely found out it isn't child's play, as I originally thought it was going to be a piece of cake, until I met the complications. =/ I'm the kind of type who can't stand it if something is not working completely and I won't stop until it does.
Anyway, feel free to bash me. I deserve it. I'm obviously a noob. A rope, anyone? xD
Apparently the common noob
Apparently the common noob problem is what I'm having:
On my computer at work it looked all fine and dandy. The dropdown navigation looked fine.
But when I checked it on other computers and browsers things were out of place and I had to use hacks and conditional comments to correct it and even still it probably doesn't look correct on some other computers. :S
I was questioning if CSS really is worth it with all the complications that come with it at least with noobs, I assume. =/ And also asked why it's worth it.
Best to create a separate
Best to create a separate thread relating directly to the problem you're having together with a detailed description and preferably a link.

No, not really. Presumably the thread that got deleted was about 'whether CSS is worth it?' I'm saying rather than just musing in general, post a thread about a specific problem.
Yeah and my reply was a tour
Yeah and my reply was a tour de force, a momentous treatise on the subject, my magnus opi; disassembled back into the stream of nutrons from where it was forged into data bits of unparalleled wisdom and insight, Virtual life can be so cruel *sigh*
