Hi forum.

So I think I've finished this new site design bar a few minor tweaks. It's my 1st full css styled site so I'd appreciate some feedback and analysis.

Thanks in advance... I hope...

Looks nice! My personal

Looks nice! My personal preference is usually a narrower body design -- maybe 650 to 700 px, but yours looks good! Right hand column seems wider than necessary, though.

Nice menu bar too!

Thanks for your input Gary.

Thanks for your input Gary. I think I need to populate the right hand side a bit more on some of the pages and that might help the balance a bit. Thanks for your comments.

Your site looks good. Clean

Your site looks good. Clean and easy to navigate. I think the column widths look fine. My only concern is the pages that have more content on the right than on the left. When that happens, your dotted border does not extend to the bottom .

Other than that...great job for your first css site!!

I don't like the dropdown

I don't like the dropdown menus, the changing widths look messy. But the design is solid and very clean Laughing out loud

Thanks for feedback!

Glad that there's no major problems here and I'm grateful for feedback from those more experienced with css layouts.

I confess that I struggled a bit with the menu, mainly trying to get it to function in IE6. I got it to a stage that I was comfortable with then, but maybe a couple of tweaks to tidy it up won't go amiss.

I was thinking on adding a search field top of the right hand column, hence the menu being left justified. Any suggestions for one that's simple to implement with no 3rd party ads? I'm interested to hear what the most popular solution is for you guys/girls.

Cheers
Bacardi!

Only concern would be how it

Only concern would be how it prints out? Don't have access to a printer so I can't check it.

I also have a preference for ease of contacting through the web site. i.e. a seperate contact button / link element / or contact details on every page.

kinda like the look & feel of the site.
