well I have now and I am not

well I have now and I am not finding a solution. I wish i could come to a happy medium with the client but this is what they want. I am still having a problem. I can get the solution to work from the link you gave above... but i cant do both min and max... thats what they want.

If the browser is smaller... shrink to i.e. 500px if the browser is bigger only go to i.e. 800px.

can this be done i have tried numerous of the results when searching max-width ie... can anyone please look into this more or point me in a direction for a solution or an example. thanks

hello, if you cannot apply

hello,

if you cannot apply min and max width to one containers , then use two containers . Smile

give a min-width to the main container , a max-width to the next ,then fill up with the content of your page.

One extra div to put IE in the game is not so much .
