I was designing my portfolio, and I thought I got a pretty nice design so I shared it with a few people and what I got was some very harsh (yet useful) comments. One of them was very important to me... "I also think that a portfolio should reflect the person's personality." That's right! So obvious, yet I couldn't see it. So I started playing around with fireworks and ended up with this. I'm very happy with it, but as it's going to be my portfolio, it NEEDS to look good to others, so feedback is welcome and needed.

I'd also like to know if it looks good on your browser or not, extremely important. I've tested it on FF, IE and Opera, all working fine.

Circles

I like the colours in the background, very striking. Bringing them into the navigation with the circles is a good idea, however I expected the circles to be graphic buttons, and was surprised when I couldn't click on them. Maybe more of a colour blur (like the background) is needed here, so that they are not presumed to be part of the navigation.

I think it is very original

I think it is very original and looks great. Nice work.

The CSS has a few errors in it but they are easily fixed. Smile

I checked it in Camino only.

Fixed

I just fixed the CSS errors, and am about to decrease the ammount of warnings. One question though. One of the warnings I get the most is the "background color specified but no foreground color selected". Is there another way to fix this without having to add a background color? backgorund: transparent doesn't seem to work, and I can't have a background color on allmy elements, since they need to be transparent most of the time (because of a background image on the parent element, for example).
