hi

i want to hilight the table row when the user mouseover on that.

take a look at the page --> http://www.comp.nus.edu.sg/~thantzin/table_hilighting.html

it works on firefox but not on IE.

that's is what i did to achieve the mouseover effect..

table tbody tr:hover { background-color: #ffe08e; } table tbody tr:hover td { color: #33FFFF; }

can someone help me solve this?

regards
terence

IE only supports :hover on

IE only supports :hover on <A> elements. IE requries javascript assistance for other elements. whatever:hover is a simple way to add :hover to IE5 & IE6 without too much bother.

It adds (iirc) a javascript hook to sort of force IE to understand :hover on any element.

Glad you got it solved Laughing out loud
