Hi All, I have searched for a solution to this, but the frustration has grown too large so I figured I would ask here.
The only way I could style my page the way I want (after much messing around), is to place the Submit button for my form in a seperate DIV element...
This is certainly not valid but I can't think of any other way to do it.
Is there another way to do this?
Also I am not sure if this is relevant, but it may be easier just to fix my styling problem. Basically i want the submit button to be at the very bottom of my div which has a fixed height, not just wherever the last text in it is. I have tried vertical-align, absolute positioning, relative positioning, float, and still no luck...
Any help would be greatly appreciated thanks!
Here's a dirty hack for you:
margin:10px 10px 0px 10px;
border: 1px solid;
PS: I call it dirty, because it does not do what you want, but makes it appear somewhat similar. Should you decide to increase the font size in the browser, and the "Submit" button will sneak out of the DIV. But so will the text in the form... eventually... since you're using the fixed height.
thank you very much! that
thank you very much! that does exactly what I want...

I have tried ... absolute positioning, relative positioning
If you had applied position: relative to the div (or form) and then position: absolute; bottom: 0 to the button, you should've been OK.
