Afternoon,

When using xhtml1-transitional.dtd DOCTYPE has anyone seen tags rendering at a smaller font size than the line of text it is in? (IE6 XP pro) See attachment, the blue links Digital Camera, TV... should be bold.

We have been able to use tags in our templates however 3rd party content suppliers are using 's, could really do with fixing this.

Thanks

Van.

tags reducing in size

Do you mean they simply are not showing as bold? If not simply add a CSS rule for the bold tag:

b
    {
    font-weight: bold;
    }

The next sentence is true. The previous sentence is false. Discuss...

tags reducing in size

Along the same lines as Co2's suggestion just set the font size and family in some CSS.

tags reducing in size

Thanks guys,

That's what I've done, seems a bit backward, it's a reason to use strong tags like we're supposed too though!

Another case of poor old IE not understanding then...
