I would greatly appreciate a site check.
http://giftdirectory.com/gift.html

The problem that I am having is with the yellow right hand column. When I resize the window, its ok, up to a certain point, and then it starts to not cooperate with me. I have even tried a z index on this to see if it would work, but it doesn't.

Everything else seems to be ok with the page. I have so much more work to do on this, but don't want to continue on until I have this fixed.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Going totally crazy!!!!!

enlightenment?

I promise I will use a big stick called the co-operator to make it do want you want, but first we will have to know, what you want to make it do.

Sorry, I thought I had explained it, but as I read back over my post I see that I did not say that I wish for this to stay positioned such that it does not move when you resize the window.

If you start to resize the window and watch the right had column against the yellow bar that goes across the window above it, you will see that the column begins to move in towards the left leaving space on the right, causing it to not be aligned with the bar. ?am I making sense?

eeek - sorry but too much of a mess.

It has one stylesheet, but then you have an IF IE to load another one for IE, but the old one still gets loaded. So it mirrors to a certain degree, and the new stylesheet overides the old one, but SO difficult to work on.

Time to start again!!

The problem is the way you used the % widths and the right absolute div as well as two left floated divs, with borders, mean't you were never going to be able to get the %'s to match up with the header and nav widths of 98%. Just the use of borders which were of fixed width would have thrown it anyway.

Here is a layout builder, but is fixed in width - it will work better than you have now.
