hey everybody,
I have been busy with a new design for a small accountant office. The customer is satisfied with the look but I think it needs a little more life in it. Any suggestions how I can do this? More colors? I think it's a little to simple right now.
Opinions, critique and suggestions welcome!
Thanks for your help!
Accountant office - new design
It's shaping up quite nicely so far, I think once there is more content on the page it will look better than it does currently.
I think a smaller font would be better and a little more spacing at the top and bottom of the fading pink blocks.
Personally I also think that certain things like the menu on the left and the information on the right look like they're just floating in whitespace. Might be nicer if you gave them a border so they look like they're contained in something - you may not think so
Cheers,
Tom

A smaller font would look nicer I think. I agree with you on that.
And I will try to put the left and right columns in boxes and see how it looks. It could help a bit. Thanks for your ideas.
Any more suggestions from anyone?

Not sure why you should use images on the navigation bar. It would be quite a bit better with styled text/lists.
Equally unsure about banner[x].jpg for the headings in the main area, which are quite suitable for styling, although for the gradient coloration you may have to use browser specific styling.
You may also want to use short styling: replace color: #3333CC; with color: #33C;
Otherwise a fine looking site.
Hope this helps
