Some of the pages jump slightly to the left on load.. not really sure why this is. Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks in advance Smile

Can't reproduce the problem - have you sorted it out?

My strategy is so simple an idiot could have devised it!

Some of the pages are not valid html ( http://www.pacifichelmetsaust.com/distributors.php )
147 errors (strange tags, no doctype, looks like microsoft publisher or word html...)

Someone is quietly working on this "behind the scenes" as it were Wink 'cos my Fx cached version does indeed show 147 errors, whereas a brand new IE page validates. Also, some pages are going 404 then coming back again.

Seems a bit pointless to try to help while the goalposts are moving. But I wonder if the OP is seeing page shifts in Fx and NS caused by the vert. scrollbar shuffle. This also happens on what purports to be the site of this site's developer. :roll:

Hi again

Still can't reproduce the problem. Is it the vertical scrollbar appearing/disappearing in Firefox that's causing the issue?

If so, the way round it is to add this line into your CSS:

html { min-height: 100%; margin-bottom: 1px; }

This basically forces a vertical scrollbar in FF so that you don't get the shift.

My strategy is so simple an idiot could have devised it!

I can't reproduce the problem.
You should use conditional comments instead of the underscore hack as it affects the menu in #header in ie 7.
