Not sure why but sometimes the right content floats to the bottom. Help!

Thanks,

Opera

Nice site,

Looks fine in Opera.

Hi and welcome.
I agree, good looking site and a mouth-watering series of header pictures. Laughing out loud

It looks OK in IE6/Win and Firefox/Win. I played around with resolutions and altering screen sizes a tiny bit but I couldn't make it do anything unusual.

The html validator is complaining about an unclosed div (allegedly Wink ) and I wonder if that could cause an occasional "wobble".

Edit: just noticed a wobble in IE6 but not in FX. The only thing that had changed was the header image. Perhaps some of those images are just a tad too wide for IE.

All Validated!!

OK - I added the missing alt tags and got it to pass validation - yet the IE 6 bug still occurs.

Just keep relodaing the page and you'll see that sometimes the content appears at the page bottom, could it be because of the random quotes in the ribbon, maybe due to text length?

Thanks,
James

FIXED! Very Unique problem though!!

Wow! Keep this solution in mind!!

In the ribbon that runs through the center of the page I have a php script that randomly loads quotes into the page - same script used for the images above.

In one of the quotes I had used bold, em and single quotes in the html. After reloading the page 50 times I noticed that it only broke when that one quote appeared. By removing the single quotes, bold and em (not sure which one caused it) I can no longer dupe the error!

Ta-daa! You won't find that in a book!

Actually you might - IE has a known italics bug.
