I just the horizontal menu and uploaded it to my server at www.h2ogames.net
It works fine except in IE6 ?
All seems to be in order, but perhaps I missed something??

li:hover is not applied by MSIE.
You can use a htc file :

That's why the javascript is there Dan, trouble is that I think it needs activating Smile

Of course the csshover.htc file is a good alternative providing as it were support for hover on all-ish elements along with focus.

woot, activated javascript now in the file but if you use IE you get a strange reaction. It pushes things down now.

It moves the title in Firefox.
If your menu relies on javascript, some people won't access some pages and search engines won't too.

You actually had the same problem in Firefox, look at your rules , all the drop downs need to be position absolute, your first nested level ul is position relative thus effecting the flow of elements coming after it, it just a matter of reading carefully your descendent selectors and what the rules are acting on, remember that your main ul is named as #nav .
