2 problems with dropdown menu

To answer the last question first float the li elements left or right #menu ul ul li and give sufficient width to the #menu ul ul to hold them, then you'll just need to work out the finer points of styling things to your tastes.

To the first part of your question I'm not sure what you're trying to do but conditional comments do not go in stylesheets especially with one </style> tag preceding them get rid of all that and put them in the head of the page.

Lastly even with a test case/snippet of code please bother to include the DTD as well, it effects how things behave, and it's so painful to have to mention it as much as we do. Smile

2 problems with dropdown menu

I am making a web design site as part of my course. I have decided to create an online web design firm for my project.

In firefox there is a drop down menu... in internet explorer 6 there isn't. That was my first problem.

Sorry about the dtd, the file i linked you to was my friends. I didn't realise he didn't have one.

As for the float i have tried putting in a float command just about everywhere and it just isn't happening. I also tried what you said as well adding a :visited and i haven't got it right :?

More help would be greatly appreciated.
