Nearly at the end of some testing for a redesign of my site but I've come up against a rather stupid yet persistent problem. Namely a popup that won't.

Test page is located here: http://www.biggestapple.net/index2.php There's an icon link titled "Listen". This should trigger a neat and tidy little popup, but as I've mentioned it doesn't. I've tried using different scripts to do this and yet none will work so the trouble must lay elsewhere (like with me).
Anyway - I need a pair of fresh eyes and would appreciate some suggestions.

Thanks!

Hi

In IE6 and FF0.8 the popup works fine.

The Little PopUp that Wouldn't.

Not sure which link it is, if it's the CD link, then it doesn't work in Safari, just opens in the same window.

I'm not too hot with Javascript, but know that normally, Safari will have an issue with the case of a Javascript, where other browsers will let things by.

Also, another problem is, in Firefox for OS X, your icons only show when they are moused-over (just white space).

The next sentence is true. The previous sentence is false. Discuss...

I'm running IE6 and it's opening a new whole page. Approx. what size is the popup when you see it??

The Little PopUp that Wouldn't.

Working here, I think you should consider adding titles to your <a> tags on the menu icons, in browsers other than IE the alt text doesn't show up when you mouse over and without the text it's hard to know what they represent.

Hi

As I'm on 1024x768 in Win98SE, its about quarter screen, maybe a bit more, and its one one those control-less ones that XP won't let you have unless you fix XP.

The Little PopUp that Wouldn't.

Got it working now. thanks.

There are alt tags on the images. i may change it at some point but for the moment I like have a purely image based nav. I know it's not all that practical though Wink
