I have several questions about this site:
Index. CSS here.
In Opera 7, the menu is indented, as well as in Firefox linux. But, in Firefox .8, the menu is missing the 10% dark green border on the left. In IE6 the whole site is just whack! How can I fix this? I know that ie doesn't support png images, so don't worry about that. If you find anything else blatently wrong, please tell me, I am new to this css stuff. Thanks![/url]

Trouble with menu border, and IE...

1) Ie is not viewing in quirks mode, so you do not have a box problem with IE6, although you should add the hacks for IE5.n

http://css-discuss.incutio.com/?page=BoxModelHack

2) As the float is being pushed down , you may have a Indent problem http://positioniseverything.net/guests/floatIndent.html

Try adding display: inline; to every div you float. It is good practice to do that anyway.

3) hmm the green border to the left - I would suggest that you have a width problem where you are using more width than available.

Try .vert2 {width: 30%;} and if border comes back, increase the width till you find out how much it can bear!

If it does not appear, it may be under something else.

Also Never seen a % used for a border (border-left: 10% solid #208000;) - you could also try a fixed size and see if that helps, although can't see why the % should not work unless we are only talking IE.

Trouble with menu border, and IE...

Well, I fixed what I could understand, and I got the border working...I added the display: inline to both vert1 and vert2, since they are the only ones that float. I had trouble understanding the stuff at the links you posted, and how to apply them to my site. Could you please clarify? My first concern is getting it to show up in IE, and then getting the menu to not indent... and thanks for the help you have given me!
