I think it looks really cool. The colour scheme is perfect for the content. It's also clean and free of clutter. Could I suggest you widen the fixed area of the site? If you did, you'd probably be able to reduce most of the scrolling - which would only add to the minimalist look of the site.

Also, I'm not sure about the little marker you have showing which page you are on (the green bar above the link). Because of the square edges it looks like it should continue further along. If you rounded the ends or graded them out it would look better.

Very picky though! Nice site. Good choice of pictures.

A few points:

1. On http://www.hypnosisreiki.com/fees.htm you are using two different font colors. Better do with one.

2. On http://www.hypnosisreiki.com/aboutme.htm the portrait is detached from the header image in a way that looks rather odd and under-construction-like.

Hope this helps

Hmmm... I think the portrait looks great as it is. It's different but fits with the design of the site. I don't see how it looks 'under-construction-like' Tech.

Individually both images are great. The issue is that there is some white space between them as if the designer had overlooked to fill that space with the background. To be precise, the image mariko.jpg has no background similar to aboutImg.jpg

Please Review My Site

Hello. First off, I hope you don't mind my not being a "guru". Laughing out loud

I think the images in the website look very good. However I also find that they don't agree with each other, as another fellow here says. Take for example the "picheader" and the images in class="clear", they seem to come from different websites that make the pages look odd. This may have somthing to do with the colour intensity of the "clear" images and/or the way they are cornered. The same issue can be found in what technossomy says about the portrait image.

The table in hypnosis.htm can also use a bit more work because like in the case of the images, it seems to be a part of yet another website. Try playing with the cells' background and text colours, also with the padding.

Cheers. Laughing out loud

I disagree with most of the other quibbles, a lot of it seems to be mostly personal taste. *Shrug* The site is pleasant to look upon and does what it is intended to do, that is, informs potential customers.

However, there is a problem with the portrait on the aboutme page that everyone else seems to have overlooked. At different text size settings (I am using K-Meleon, a browser that is very flexible in that respect) some of the content is hidden by the image. Some work with margins would cure that, I think.

That's not the only page that suffers when the text is resized. Your form busts out of the background on the contact page and your nav links also start to merge together (would be better if they turned onto a new line as the text got bigger).
Other than that, I like the look.

Thank you all for the feedbacks. Will work on the margin and spice up the table flavors.

So far, the client is happy with the way it is. Laughing out loud . Again, thankyou all for the advices.

Hi
Just visited your site. To me, it looks beautiful, though there is that problem about text resizing. The menu goes to 2 lines(as suggested previously), but the text goes under the image in about me. Have you validated it? I got some errors in w3.org css validation.
Just my 2 bits.
thanks
